8 ways to "fish" for new audience.


Acquiring new audience should be your main objective when you are promoting a blog of your own or a business. In order to get more views you can so so much more than just pay for SEO, post on social media and tell your family to read your stuff. The following nine tips are some of the things that helped me take off.

Become your own PR and start making connections to get new audience.
Email, this is one of the most reliable sources you have (As long as the list was built by you). Treat them nicely and Encourage word-of-mouth recommendations. Don't be afraid to ask your existing happy clientele to tell their friends how awesome your stuff is.

Join local online Communities and be active, answer questions (if you know the answer), ask stuff and start conversations.
Sell Online, if you haven't made the jump already, now is a good time to start promoting and selling your products or services online. Make sure your shopping cart accepts major credit cards and is responsive.
Networking! meet new people and tell them about your business, be nice and invite them to your store. 
Trade business cards and ask them if they are cool with receiving your emails with promotions and more awesome stuff. Trade business cards with EVERYONE, yes..don't be cheap, the cards are like $20 per thousand. Also: ask them if they want to receive your emails, if so then mark their cards to add them later.
Work with other businesses Once in a while try new advertising methods, you might not know this, but lots of nearby people don't see your facebook ad. Go back to printing, try other magazines. Always measure the exposure and keep on working with the ones that give the best result. What else do YOU do?
